8. What is the difference between DIY Packaging and Satellite packagers?
If you were to become a satellite packager then you would be given the lender's
packaging manual and would be expected to interpret it yourself and produce all
the documents. You can earn more than we pay with DIY Packaging this way but there
is more work involved. With DIY Packaging we offer a wide range of lenders
and guide you through the process, please refer to Panel list & Fees section
of this site for full lender list. You don't need to think what you need to
provide because we list it for your particular client and we provide the
reference letters pre-populated with the applicant details. We also offer the
backing of our experience and expert knowledge and have the New Enquiries team
at hand to help replace a case if it falls outside one lender's criteria.
9. When will electronic Dip be available?
Electronic Dips are now available using DIY Packaging. Once the online Dip form
has been submitted via the website, our New Enquiries team will contact you to
let you know the client's options.
10. Who instructs Valuation and Credit searches, and once instructed how
long do they take?
We instruct the credit search and the valuation but at your request and at a
time to suit you. Your request will be actioned on the day of receipt.
Timescales on credit searches depend on the lenders response times to on-line
DIP's. Valuations are instructed via Quest where appointments must be made
within 48 hours.
11. What's the catch?
There isn't one. As you take on the administration, you are in control.
12. Why do you retain some of the Gross Fee?
We provide you with the technology to underwrite and process your cases and
audit the cases to satisfy the lenders requirements. There is an enormous
amount of work involved in keeping the rates and criteria spot on. We are
investing in enhancing the system even further and hope to be able to negotiate
higher fees on your behalf.
